SYRIZA: Airport Blackout Damages Country's Image

SYRIZA has criticized the recent blackout at Greek airports, stating that it is another 'achievement' that damages the country's international image.

SYRIZA questioned the causes of the blackout, such as outdated infrastructure, gaps in backup systems, or a cyberattack. They also accused the government of disparaging the employees of the Civil Aviation Authority.

The problem in the Athens FIR caused delays to 75 flights, cancellations, and inconvenience to thousands of passengers. Delays and cancellations were also recorded at Macedonia Airport in Thessaloniki.
