Tatar Criticizes Stewart and the Greek Cypriot Side

Ersin Tatar strongly criticized Colin Stewart, accusing him of violating the terms of his mandate. Tatar claimed that there are two equal sides in Cyprus and that Stewart must respect and protect this equality.

Furthermore, he reiterated accusations against the Greek Cypriot side for undermining cooperation through the bi-communal Technical Committees. He referred to bodies and institutions in the occupied territories with whom, he claimed, the Greek Cypriot side avoids dialogue.

Regarding the form of a solution, Tatar stated that it is time for a new game, considering the bi-zonal, bi-communal federation a thing of the past.
