Tempi: Association Members Distance Themselves from Karystianou

Members of the Board of Directors of the Tempi Victims' Relatives Association have issued a joint statement, distancing themselves from any political initiatives by the association's president, Maria Karystianou.

In the statement, members Pavlos Aslanidis, Eleni Vasara, Vasilis Pavlidis, and Anastasios Tachmazidis, emphasize that Ms. Karystianou's actions are her personal choices and do not represent a collective decision of the Board.

"These actions do not express the Association, given that they are not the product of collective discussion and decisions of the Board," they state characteristically, adding that they remain committed to the struggle to reveal the truth and punish those responsible for the Tempi tragedy.

Furthermore, they emphasize that they do not want the Association to be involved in politics, stressing that their goal is to highlight the long-standing causes that led to the accident.

The statement comes in response to rumors and discussions regarding the creation of a "Movement - Party" with the participation of Maria Karystianou.
