Themistokleous: "ELAM Operates Like a Gang"

Andreas Themistokleous, a former independent candidate with ELAM in the 2021 parliamentary elections, has launched a scathing critique of the party, characterizing it as a "gang." The criticism comes in the wake of Vangelis Tsangaridis' resignation from the position of First Vice President of ELAM.
In a post, Themistokleous referred to his personal experience with ELAM, claiming that the party's president, Christos Christou, broke his promises after the elections. He claims that Christou rejected proposals to democratize the party, saying: "Democracy is outside this party, outside this office" and "I decide here alone."
Themistokleous warns non-ELAM candidates to take this experience into account, predicting authoritarian behavior from the ELAM leadership.
