Turkish Exercise 'Mediterranean Storm' in Occupied Cyprus

The Turkish Ministry of Defense has announced the start of the annual military exercise 'Mediterranean Storm' in occupied Cyprus. The exercise is taking place from September 8 to 12, 2025.

The Turkish occupying forces and the 'security forces' of the pseudo-state are participating in the exercise, with the support of land, naval, and air forces.

The exercise is held in memory of the Turkish pilot Cengiz Topel, whose plane was shot down during the bombings of Tillyria in 1964.
