Trump Considers Pardoning Diddy for Sex Crimes?

Donald Trump is reportedly seriously considering granting a presidential pardon to Sean "Diddy" Combs, who has been convicted of sex crimes. According to a U.S. government source, Diddy's release is being "seriously considered."
Several of Combs' associates have approached the White House, and the matter has been elevated following Combs' partial conviction in a New York trial for sex trafficking. However, any decision on amnesty is fluid until the president signs it.
Diddy, who has refused a $50 million bail, may spend two to three years in federal prison. His defense team did not comment on amnesty discussions. A government official stated that "the White House will not comment on the existence or non-existence of any pardon request."
Combs, formerly a Trump supporter, criticized the former president during his term and supported Joe Biden in 2020. Previously, Trump had called Combs a "good friend."
The case comes as Trump faces pressure to release the Jeffrey Epstein files.
