V. Palmas: October 28th is a Celebration of Free People

The Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas, represented Cyprus at the military parade in Thessaloniki for the anniversary of October 28th.

According to Mr. Palmas, the anniversary is a celebration not only for Greeks, but for all free people, as the Greeks stood up against the forces of totalitarianism.

He also expressed the gratitude of Cypriot Hellenism for Greece's support in Cyprus' struggle for liberation and reunification.
