V. Palmas: October 28th is a celebration of free people

The Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas, stated that the anniversary of October 28th is a celebration of all free people. Mr. Palmas represented Cyprus at the military parade in Thessaloniki.

"Representing the Republic of Cyprus and Cypriot Hellenism, I express my warm congratulations to the Greek Armed Forces," he said. He added that the "glorious historical NO of the Greeks is the most brilliant milestone in the modern history of the Greek Nation."

Mr. Palmas expressed the gratitude of Cypriot Hellenism for the continuous support of the Greek governments in Cyprus' struggle for liberation and reunification.
