Parliament Approves SYOP Extension and RIK, CYBC Budgets

The Plenary of the Parliament approved the extension of the working period for Contract Soldiers (SYOP) until the age of 57, from 42. Furthermore, the recruitment age for new SYOPs is increased to 35, from 27.

The 2026 budget of RIK, which provides for expenses of 45,905,000 euros, was also approved, as well as the budgets of CYBC and the Radio Television Authority.
