Christodoulides at the European Parliament: Cyprus under occupation

President Christodoulides presented the priorities of the Cypriot presidency to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, emphasizing the Turkish occupation of Cyprus and the territorial integrity of Europe.
The five pillars of the Cypriot Presidency are:
- Autonomy through Security, Defence and Preparedness
- Autonomy through Competitiveness
- Autonomy and an open Union
- A Union of Values for all
- Next Multiannual Financial Framework
The President referred to Ukraine and support for Denmark regarding Greenland, as well as the need for a stronger European security architecture. He also touched on issues such as affordable housing, child poverty and access to pharmaceutical products.
