Justice Minister: Cabinet Reshuffle is President's Prerogative

The Minister of Justice and Public Order, Marios Hartsiotis, stated that a cabinet reshuffle is solely the President's responsibility. The statement was made on the sidelines of a press conference on preventing and combating sexism in Nicosia.

When asked about the possibility of a reshuffle, Mr. Hartsiotis reiterated that the matter rests exclusively with the President. He emphasized that Ministers are working to implement the government program and provide relief to those affected by the fires in mountainous Lemesos.

Referring to the fires, the Minister noted that during his term, the Ministry of Justice has provided the Fire Service and the Cyprus Police with the necessary equipment to deal with natural disasters.
