Ministry of Interior and Google: New AI Collaboration Agreement

The Ministry of Interior and Google have signed a new memorandum of understanding aimed at training Public Administration staff in Artificial Intelligence. The collaboration will last until December 31, 2026.

The initiative focuses on strengthening practical skills in Artificial Intelligence and digital work, taking into account national and European policies.

According to the Minister of Interior, Thodoris Livanios, the collaboration confirms the commitment to a modern and digital Public Administration. The Deputy Minister of Interior, Vivi Charalampogianni, emphasized the importance of integrating Artificial Intelligence into the Greek Public Administration.

Peggy Antonakou, from Google, stated that Greece is leading in the age of Artificial Intelligence and that 85% of participants see Artificial Intelligence as a practical ally in their work.
