Cyprus Ministry of Defence Drafts Action Plan for SAFE Funds

The Ministry of Defence is drafting an action plan to utilize funds from the European financial instrument SAFE. The plan must be submitted by November 30.

The responsible minister, Vasilis Palmas, is urgently convening the Cyprus Defence Industry Council.

Panagiotis Chatzipavlis, Director of Armaments and Development of Defence Capabilities at the Ministry of Defence, referred to the relations with the European Defence Agency, a delegation of which recently visited Nicosia.

On November 10, an event will be held at a National Guard camp, where a demonstration of the results of the "Athena" projects will take place.
