Eurovision 2026: Host City and Dates Announcement on August 8

The Austrian broadcaster ORF and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) have begun preparations for Eurovision 2026, following JJ's victory. The host city will be announced on Friday, August 8. The dates for the semi-finals and the grand final will also be announced on the same day.

Selection criteria include an arena with sufficient capacity, infrastructure, accommodation availability, and proximity to international airports.

The cities that have expressed interest are: Wels – Linz, Oberwart, Vienna, Innsbruck.
