Giorgos Theofanous expressed his remorse for the way he addressed contestants on older talent shows, in an interview with Hello magazine.

The leading Cypriot composer stated that he is "ashamed of the language he used."

Referring to his television experience as a judge, Giorgos Theofanous admitted that television negatively affected him, pushing him to extremes. However, he emphasized that it was also good for him, as it helped him to get out of his "shell" and appear live playing the piano.

From December 2025, Giorgos Theofanous will perform at #Medousa every Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon, presenting the successes of his 35-year career, with scheduled appearances in Greece and Cyprus.

Also, as chairman of the committee for the selection of candidate songs for the national final #SingForGreece, he commented on the process and predictions, emphasizing the importance of the overall spectacle at #Eurovision.
