Aithra Lykourezou speaks about her battle with depression

Aithra Lykourezou, in a video posted on TikTok, spoke about the difficult times she experienced after the death of her mother, Zoi Laskari.

She mentions that she sank into depression and isolated herself for quite some time. As she stated, her psychological state gradually improved, with the help of a new person who came into her life.

"There was a period after my mother passed away when I really fell into deep depression and deep darkness and I didn't want to live," Aithra Lykourezou characteristically stated, describing the period of isolation and the effort to deal with the situation without medication or other substances.

In another part of the video, Aithra Lykourezou referred to the positive impact that meeting her partner had on her life: "At some point you meet a person and things get better in your life and it starts to change and you really feel grateful because you had all the material things easily in your life, but now you have the security, you have the love".

Aithra Lykourezou revealed that she has been in a relationship for a year.
