Kostas Falelakis: «More Popular as an LGBTQI+ Person Than as an Actor»

Actor Kostas Falelakis stated in a recent television appearance that he feels more recognized as a member of the LGBTQI+ community than for his acting career.

Specifically, in an interview on the show #ΠΟΠΜαγειρική, Falelakis expressed his desire to focus on professional matters, such as his theatrical performances, but the conversation often turns to his personal life and his relationship with Minas Chatzisavvas.

The actor stated: «I think I am more popular as an LGBTQI+ person than as an actor. I like it and I do not deny it, because it helps some people. But because I am tired of talking about it, I am here to talk about the show that is coming and the show that is gone.»

Falelakis has spoken openly about the difficulties he faced after the death of his partner, Minas Chatzisavvas, due to the absence of a legal framework for same-sex couples.
