Lola Daifa: Stolen Earrings Up for Auction

Lola Daifa reported seeing her stolen earrings being auctioned live on television by gallery owner Giorgos Tsagkarakis.
According to Ms. Daifa, a man, under the pretense of electrical work, entered her home and stole jewelry. Later, she saw her earrings up for auction.
As she explained, the earrings were of a unique design, made exclusively for her by a goldsmith. The police initially confiscated the jewelry, but it reappeared in a subsequent auction.
The case is under judicial investigation.
Hundreds of paintings, amphorae, and Byzantine icons were also found in the possession of Giorgos Tsagkarakis.
