Sofia Pavlidou made a public confession about her childhood experiences and how they affected her children. The actress described the feeling of loneliness she experienced growing up and the lack of support from her parents, which followed her into adulthood.

'I was alone in the course of my life. I never asked for my parents' help. I didn't have the hug, the attention and the tenderness. My parents also had their own issues. I have forgiven them and I have worked all this out,' Sofia Pavlidou stated.

The actress admitted that her traumas were passed on to her children, but stressed that she now has a different relationship with them. 'I apologized to my children. I told them that I was carrying things inside me from childhood. They said, 'What are you saying, Mom? We haven't understood anything, we love you very much and you have always been there,' she confessed.
