Alejandro González Iñárritu, with whom Cruise is collaborating on a new film expected in 2026, presented the award. Iñárritu praised Cruise's passion and dedication to film.

Dolly Parton, Debbie Allen, and producer Wynn Thomas were also honored at the same event.
