Share on:

The Employees Branch of the Department of Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (TKEA) of PASYDY strongly denies claims of transferring responsibilities to the Social Welfare Services (YKE).

In a statement, TKEA employees describe the references by the unions of YKE employees as "incorrect and misleading," emphasizing that "under no circumstances have TKEA duties been transferred to YKE."

TKEA was established in 2009 to promote social inclusion policies for people with disabilities. According to the announcement, the individual programs that YKE is called upon to implement concern incidents under their responsibility for people living in their structures, specifically only 6 people.

The TKEA – PASYDY Branch expresses its regret for the refusal of colleagues to serve vulnerable individuals and their families and expresses support for the decision of the Administration of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.
