Filippidis Trial: Actor Breaks Down During Testimony About His Son

Petros Filippidis's defense continues today, June 23, before the Mixed Jury Court of Appeal, regarding the charges of attempted rape.

The actor is expected to address the second case concerning an incident in 2014, where he is accused of attempting to rape a colleague he met for professional reasons.

According to the court's schedule, if the testimony concludes soon, the prosecutor of the court, Andreas Karaflou, may proceed with his summation regarding the actor's guilt or innocence.

During the proceedings, Petros Filippidis referred to his family and broke down in tears while talking about his son, while Elpida Ninou was also moved. His lawyer, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, requested a postponement, citing friendly relations between a judge and a lawyer in the case and a pending request to recover messages from the forensic service.
