Journalist 'Attacked' by Wasp During Live Broadcast

ITV journalist Sara O'Kane experienced an unexpected incident during a live broadcast when a wasp landed on her face.

O'Kane had just finished her report on a triple murder case in Northern Ireland when the insect initially landed on her shirt and then on her nose. The journalist attempted to remove the wasp with her papers.

In a post on X, O'Kane stated that she 'endured it as much as she could,' while requesting that the incident not overshadow the seriousness of the news she was covering. The video of the incident has gone viral.
