Actress Eleni Kokkidou spoke on the show 'Breakfast@Star' about the position of women in society and the reproduction of oppression through the family.

'Abuse of women happens and will continue to happen, but abuse of children is unbearable. People nearby must speak up,' said Eleni Kokkidou.

Referring to the reproduction of oppression, the actress emphasized: 'Women who have experienced oppression often pass it on to their daughters. It is a baton that passes from generation to generation. Steps have been taken, but not enough. There will always be women financially dependent on their husbands who are abused and cannot leave. Something happens every week.'

Eleni Kokkidou also referred to the successful Alpha series, 'Min Arhizeis ti Mourmoura,' in which she starred from 2013 to 2024 with Antonis Antoniou. She revealed that the concept of the series may return with new actors.

'I think it will happen at some point. Not with us, but with new couples. "Mourmoura" was a very successful series model,' she said.
