March 6 Name Day: Who is celebrating today?

Today, March 6th, we celebrate those named: Hesychius, Hesychis, Hesychia.
The Orthodox Church commemorates the memory of Saint Hesychius the Wonderworker today.
Saint Hesychius came from the ancient city of Andrapa in Galatia. He chose the monastic life from a young age and settled in a deserted area near the sea, on the slopes of Mount Maionos. He lived with strict discipline and faith, and was attributed with the gift of miracle working.
Also commemorated today are the 42 Martyrs of Amorium and the Finding of the Holy Cross and Holy Nails by Saint Helena.
