Novartis Cyprus Successfully Concludes Patient Safety Campaign

Novartis Pharma Services Inc. Cyprus successfully conducted an awareness campaign for World Patient Safety Day on September 6, 2025, at The Mall of Cyprus, Nicosia.

Under the slogan "Patient Safety from the Start," the campaign focused on protecting newborns and children, within the framework of the WHO's World Patient Safety Day.

Mr. Fabio Sperandei, President of Novartis Cyprus & Malta, emphasized the company's commitment to patient safety.

The event was attended by representatives of the medical community, patient associations, institutional bodies, and personalities from the political and artistic fields.

The initiative was held under the auspices of the Pancyprian Medical Association (PIS), the Federation of Patient Associations of Cyprus (OSAK), the Pediatric Society of Cyprus, the Pediatric Physiotherapy Group of the Pancyprian Association of Physiotherapists, and the Amerikos Argyriou Center for Preventive Pediatrics.

Children and parents participated in creative activities, while health experts provided advice.

Ms. Loukia Samata, Head of Patient Access & Corporate Affairs of Novartis Cyprus & Malta, thanked the stakeholders involved.

The campaign continues with public awareness actions until the end of September.
