With the arrival of the first autumn fruits, it's important to know which are safe for our dogs and which should be avoided.

Safe Fruits:

  • Apples: Rich in calcium, potassium, vitamins A and C, fiber, and antioxidants. Remove the seeds.
  • Pears: Excellent source of vitamins C and K, and fiber. Remove the seeds and peel.
  • Cranberries: Support the immune and urinary systems. Prefer fresh ones.

Fruits to Avoid:

  • Grapes: Can cause acute kidney failure.
  • Grapefruit: Can cause stomach upset and affect drug metabolism.

Before giving any fruit to your dog, consult your veterinarian. If you notice symptoms after consumption, contact your veterinarian immediately.
