Parents of children with ADHD demand equal treatment in schools

Parents sent a message for equal treatment and acceptance of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the education system, during a meeting organized by the ADHD Support Association of Cyprus.

In its announcement, the Association states that the meeting gave parents the opportunity to exchange views and experiences regarding the challenges their children face in the school environment.

A common request was the humane and fair treatment of children with ADHD in schools. The ADHD Support Association of Cyprus stressed the need for a new, inclusive education program at all levels, which will embrace every child, without exclusion.

As noted, without inclusive education, an inclusive society cannot be created.
