The Healing Power of the Soul and Faith

Today, I share thoughts on the power of the soul and faith, especially for those battling cancer. Returning from an examination at the German Oncology Center in Limassol, I encountered many people facing this battle with admirable strength.

I refer to the soul's ability to overcome difficulties, often supported by faith. I see people who are not necessarily religious making the sign of the cross, seeking hope and strength.

For the past eight years, I have been undergoing MRI scans, finding solace in the aria 'Un Aura Amorosa' by Mozart, performed by Luciano Pavarotti. This music, along with prayer, offers me strength.

I refer to an excerpt from the book 'Where God is not Seen,' by Metropolitan Nikolaos of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, which deals with the coexistence of pain and beauty in the world, and the need for faith.
