Influencer Seriously Injured Doing the 'Nicki Minaj Stiletto Challenge'

A 32-year-old influencer from Russia suffered a spinal fracture while attempting the 'Nicki Minaj stiletto challenge' on TikTok. The challenge, which has gone viral, recreates a pose by Nicki Minaj from her 'High School' music video (2013).

The influencer, named Mariana Barutkina, tried to balance on a kitchen counter on top of a pot and a baby formula container, just 8 weeks after giving birth. She lost her balance and fell on her back, resulting in a fracture of the Th9 vertebra and requiring hospitalization.

Nicki Minaj, in a video she posted, emphasized that the correct version of the pose requires 'both feet on the ground' and 'all 10 toes on the floor,' clarifying that it does not involve balancing on one foot.
