Lena Samara: Sudden Death from Seizure and Cardiac Arrest

Grief has been caused by the death of 34-year-old Lena Samara, daughter of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. The young woman passed away at «Evangelismos» hospital from cardiac arrest, following a seizure.
According to the Ministry of Health, Lena Samara was initially transferred to «Sisamanoglio» hospital due to indisposition and dizziness. Despite the tests, the doctors referred her to «Evangelismos» for further examination. There, she experienced seizures and subsequently suffered a cardiac arrest.
Lena Samara was a civil engineer, a graduate of City University of London, and a great-great-granddaughter of the writer Penelope Delta.
