University of Cyprus: Students Over 50 Return to the Classroom

At the University of Cyprus, Alpha Enimerosi met students who returned to the classroom after many years. Theodora Georgiou, 59, is studying History and Archeology, fulfilling her dream after 33 years as a hairdresser and mother of five. She encourages women to focus on themselves and pursue their dreams.

Agathoklis (Athos) Agapitos, 68, is studying Sociology and Social Anthropology. He postponed his studies since 1975 due to family obligations. He emphasizes his positive relationship with his younger classmates, highlighting mutual love and respect.

Pavlos Pelegraris, 75, is the oldest student at the University of Cyprus. Having already a degree in civil engineering from Beirut, he is studying Philosophy. He mentions the kindness and acceptance he found from the younger students.

It is noted that Pavlos' granddaughter is also studying at the University of Cyprus, adding an extra dimension to the story.
