Father Antonios: Strong Reaction After Conviction in 'Ark' Case

Father Antonios, following his conviction by the Athens Three-Member Court of Appeals in the abuse case at 'Kivotos tou Kosmou' (Ark of the World), expressed his opposition on the show 'Alithies me ti Zina'.

The priest was found guilty in the second instance of physical harm to minors. Four of his associates were also found guilty, including a former member of the board, the former head of educators in Volos, and the former director of the Volos structure.

Father Antonios stated: 'I am very sorry for this whole situation, I consider what has happened to be a great injustice... it is a half trial in which we did not defend ourselves... All the accusers were protected in an extreme way'.

He further stated: 'This abduction, this violence, without even hearing us about evidence and accusations that proved false... There is an attempt to punish even those witnesses who tried to tell the truth'.
