Fire near Limassol-Paphos highway: Fire Department Responds

The Fire Department was alerted on Sunday evening following a report of a fire north of the Limassol-Paphos highway.

According to Fire Department Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the Paphos fire station responded at 20:50 with three vehicles to a fire in two decares of dry grass, wild vegetation, unharvested crops, various trees, and reeds, north of the Limassol-Paphos highway, towards Anarita.

A Mobile Observation Unit from the Game and Wildlife Service also assisted in the extinguishing operation.
