Welfare Ministry Initiates Support for 38-Year-Old Mother

The Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare has initiated procedures to provide assistance to a 38-year-old mother facing housing problems. The woman, whose story was brought to light by REPORTER, is temporarily staying in a hotel.

The Deputy Ministry has approved the necessary funds for the 38-year-old to rent a permanent residence. The authorities have already prepared the funds and are waiting for the interested party to find the house she desires.

The 38-year-old divorced five years ago and, after various adventures, ended up living in a prefabricated house in the Larnaca district. After the owner's death in July, she was forced to leave it. She is currently staying in a hotel with the help of the Social Welfare Services and is looking for permanent housing.
