AEL: Time of Truth in the Cup

AEL will soon learn their opponent for the cup semi-finals (24/3, 10:00). A competition the team has focused on for some time.

A season with ups and downs since Hugo Martins took over as coach, with an upward trend culminating in the away win against Omonia to qualify for the cup semi-finals.

Since then, performance and results have declined (1-1-5 record, 7-12 coefficient). The fans have lost confidence in the team.

The moment of truth for AEL and Hugo Martins will be in the cup semi-finals. Much will depend on their performance in it. AEL cannot perform as they have in their recent matches leading up to the games (April 8 and 22).
