AEL Achieves Comeback Victory Over Apollon Limassol

AEL defeated Apollon Limassol 89-77 at the Apollon Arena in the 2nd matchday of the ECOMMBX Basket League's second phase. This victory brings AEL to 34 points (14-6 record), while Apollon remains at 28 points (8-12 record).

Apollon controlled the first half, closing it with a score of 49-37. However, AEL made a strong comeback after the break. Despite Apollon's initial lead of 54-40 in the third quarter, AEL responded, led by Tyrn Flowers, Myles Tate, and Travis Taylor, managing to overtake and close the third quarter at 64-63.

In the fourth quarter, AEL maintained momentum, securing crucial baskets from Taylor, Armakolas, Tate, and Mario Georgiou, pulling ahead to 80-75 and ultimately winning 89-77.

Tyrn Flowers was the top scorer for AEL with 26 points, while Ismael Plet scored 21 points for Apollon.
