Alex Honnold Climbs Skyscraper Without Ropes on Netflix

American climber Alex Honnold scaled the Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taiwan without ropes, in a live broadcast on Netflix.

Honnold reached the top of the 508-meter tower in approximately 90 minutes. The ascent sparked both excitement and debate.

He is not the first to climb the skyscraper, but he is the first to do so without a rope. Alain Robert climbed the building in 2004.
