Alejo: "I stayed five months at APOEL and was paid for only one and a half"

Alejo expressed his bitterness about his experience at APOEL, after the end of his collaboration and his move to Real Valladolid.

The Spanish footballer commented on the payment delays from APOEL's side, stating: "I prefer to forget my time at APOEL, it didn't end very well. I stayed five months and they only paid me for one and a half."

He compared the situation with the financial management in Spain, saying: "There is a lot of criticism of Javier Tebas, but La Liga's financial control ensures that the players are paid on time."
