Cyprus-Estonia Handball Match Postponed Due to Accident

The scheduled match between Cyprus and Estonia for the EHF EURO 2028 qualifiers has been postponed due to a traffic accident involving the Cyprus Men's National Team. The match was scheduled for January 11, 2026.

The Cyprus Handball Federation (KOX) announced that the fate of the match will be decided jointly with the European Federation (EHF) and the Estonian Federation. The delegation is traveling to Tallinn by road and will return to Cyprus on January 12, provided the injured can travel.

KOX thanked the Cypriot Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy in Helsinki, the Cyprus Sports Organization, the Cyprus Olympic Committee, and all organizations for their support.
