Anorthosis to Play Elbasani in Ptolemaida Friendly

Anorthosis will play their last friendly match on Greek soil this Saturday, facing Elbasani from Albania (18:30) in Ptolemaida. This marks the end of their basic preparation stage.

Despite the defeats in the previous friendlies against Aris Thessaloniki and AEL Larissa, the results are not considered important. The goal is to lay the right foundations and implement Joaquín Gómez's philosophy, so that the Famagusta team acquires a competitive identity.

In the match against Elbasani, the Spanish coach is expected to conduct trials, focusing on tactics and player evaluation. Andreas Karamanolis is also expected to get playing time.
