Athletic Club Pera: 140 Years of History Celebrated with Swimming Competitions

Athletic Club Pera celebrates 140 years of history with a three-day international swimming competition from March 20-22, 2026. In collaboration with the Hellenic Swimming Federation (K.O.E.), the games will be held at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens "Spiros Louis" (OAKA).

The competitions, entitled "A.S. PERA - Athletic Journey from Constantinople to Athens IV," will host 70 clubs from Greece, Cyprus, and Europe, with over 2,000 athletes.

Competition Schedule:

  • Saturday, March 21, 2026, 12:30 PM: Opening Ceremony and athletes' parade.
  • Morning of Saturday, March 21 & Sunday, March 22: Pre-competitive categories (10-11-12 years old) and mini-ages (8-9 years old).
  • Afternoon of Friday, March 20, noon & afternoon of Saturday, March 21 & Sunday, March 22: Competitive categories (13 years and older).

A.S. Pera was founded in Constantinople and re-established in Athens in 1973. Today, it maintains swimming, tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, and chess departments.

The President of the Club, Viki Christoforidou, and the General Secretary, Christina Drosopoulou, lead the club with dedication.
