Footballer Seeks Divorce After Wife's Comments on His Bedroom Performance

A footballer has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife after her public comments about his sexual performance. Erjona Sulejmani, the former wife of player Blerim Džemaili, stated on a show that "footballers are not good lovers."

The statement went viral, and Džemaili, a former international with the Swiss national team, initiated divorce proceedings and sought custody of their son, Luan. According to reports, their relationship had been facing problems long before the statement.

Sulejmani, an Albanian-born model, stated that she will continue to support Džemaili, despite the divorce. She also caused controversy in 2020 when she claimed that there are many homosexual footballers.
