Greece vs. Israel: 58-75 Defeat at ECOMMBX Cup

The Greek National Team was defeated by Israel with a score of 75-58 at the ECOMMBX Cup tournament held in Limassol. The game concluded with Greece having a 0/2 record in the tournament, following their defeat by Serbia as well.
Coach Vasilis Spanoulis implemented rotations, resting players such as Kostas Sloukas, Kostas Papanikolaou, and Dinos Mitoglou. Additionally, Vasilis Toliopoulos and Giannis Antetokounmpo were unavailable, while Giannoulis Larentzakis left the game due to back discomfort.
In the first half, Greece performed well, scoring 41 points. However, in the second half, their performance declined, especially in offense. For Israel, Deni Avdija and Roman Sorkin stood out.
The next game for the National Team is against Montenegro on Thursday (August 14) at the PAOK Sports Arena.
