Futsal Championship to Start in October

The Cyprus Football Association (CFA) held a meeting to better organize the Futsal Championship for the 2025-2026 season. The meeting was attended by the Vice President of the CFA, Theodoros Theodoulou, the President of the Futsal Committee, Dimitris Grigori, the General Director Anthoulis Mylonas, and representatives of the clubs.

Twelve teams have registered to participate in the First Division, and the format of the championship will be finalized by September 15. The Championship is scheduled to start in the first week of October, with matches mainly taking place on Thursday and Friday. The Super Cup match will be held in the last week of September.

The organization of Development Championships K-15 and K-18 was also discussed, in which teams not participating in the First Division Futsal will also have the right to participate. The CFA will soon proceed with the announcement of the championships.
