The first training camp of the Cyprus U-17 Women's National Team, held in Agros and Pelendri, has been successfully completed. The camp lasted a week and included 35 female football players under the age of 17.

In addition to field training, the program included theoretical lessons and activities as determined by the coaching team. National Team coach Savas Sofokleous stated: "It was a successful training camp and I believe we have achieved multifaceted and substantial benefits for all involved."

Mr. Sofokleous also emphasized the benefits for the Women's and Youth National teams, as it creates a pool of female players ready to join the National teams, knowing the requirements and cultivating a unified game philosophy from a young age.
