FIFA: Notable Absences from the Best XI of the Season

FIFA announced its Best XI of the season, sparking debate due to some notable absences. Ousmane Dembélé was named best player, while Gianluigi Donnarumma was chosen as best goalkeeper.
Six Paris Saint-Germain players, Donnarumma, Hakimi, Pacho, Mendes, Vitinha, and Dembélé, were included in the lineup. The remaining spots were filled by Van Dijk, Palmer, Bellingham, Pedri, and Yamal.
However, the absence of Rafinha from Barcelona, who scored 34 goals and provided 26 assists in 57 appearances, caused reactions. His wife even commented ironically on social media.
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool was also left out, despite scoring 34 goals and providing 23 assists in 52 games, and winning the Premier League. Liverpool's early elimination from the Champions League influenced his selection.
The fact that Champions League finalist Inter didn't have any players in the Best XI also raised eyebrows.
