Filip Sunturlic: 'Rare opportunity for Cypriot fans' at ECOMMBX Cup

The Serbian National Team is preparing for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 and will participate in the ECOMMBX Cup in Limassol on August 9 and 10. They will face Greece (9/8, 20:30) and Cyprus (10/8, 17:00) at the Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Center.

The Vice President of the Serbian Basketball Federation, Filip Sunturlic, emphasized the importance of the tournament in an interview.

'It's a rare opportunity for Cypriot fans to see some of the world's top players up close – such as Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo,' Sunturlic said.

Sunturlic, a former player for AEK Larnaca, stated that he maintains close ties with Cyprus and often visits the island.
