Fortuna Düsseldorf is continuing its free ticket experiment, which has proven to be highly successful. Despite offering free tickets for three matchdays in the 2023/24 season, the Bundesliga 2 team saw an increase in revenue.

The initiative, called 'Fortuna für alle', aims to connect football with the local community, making match attendance accessible to everyone, regardless of income. The financial gap is covered through sponsorships and corporate partnerships.

The Merkur-Spiel-Arena was filled with fans, while merchandise sales and local vendor revenue increased. Fortuna Düsseldorf's management described the initiative as a 'holistic economic recovery'.

For the next season, the team plans to implement the program in five matches.
