Y. Ioannou: «Anorthosis will not be in danger with Christodoulides»

KOA President, Yiannis Ioannou, responded to recent comments by Yiannis Karousos regarding the «Antonis Papadopoulos» stadium and the situation of Anorthosis.

Y. Ioannou stressed that the problems in the stadiums of Anorthosis, Salamina and Ethnikos are older and recognized by the government. He stated that President Nikos Christodoulides is committed to upgrading these stadiums, recognizing the national role of these clubs.

«In the strong hands of Christodoulides and the decisions of his government, neither Anorthosis nor any other refugee club will be in danger», said Y. Ioannou.

Furthermore, he mentioned that the clubs are responsible for the delay, as they did not respond promptly to the submission of studies and documents. However, he assured that the procedures are coming to an end and the government will support the clubs, especially Anorthosis.
